Week 12- Fashion Curating of Garments (Final)

Week 12- Fashion Curating of Garments (FINAL)

After consulting Ms Debra and compiling my group member's suggestions for our final group curation, we managed to curate a proper narration.

Based on our final collection, we curated a narration.

"Titled 'Heroine', the principle design concept is inspired by theme Psychotropical which was adapted from WGSN's forecast for 2018. This unique contrast of psychedelic and botanical theme combines deep and saturated colours to stimulate a hallucinatory and trippy experience for those with wanderlusts. The heroine is a type of euphoric drug, and it also defines a woman who is admired for her brave acts and fine qualities. This eccentric Resort wear collection plays with pleats, ruffles, and gathers that appeases to young female audiences to stand out in the crowd. These details are used as border details to define the shape of the garments in different ways. A traveling wanderlust would complete her outfit with this collection's accessories which feature chunky platforms, sandals, printed scarves in our signature prints, and not forgetting a pair of chic sunglasses. The silhouettes for this resort wear collection is inspired by Alexis Mabille Resort 2017, adapting a casual and relaxed feel- Tent and H-Line. This collection uses crease-proof and lightweight fabrics, which provides comfortability and are also hassle-free. Versatility is one of this collection's major selling points as the garments are easy to mix and match with one's swimsuit or to wear on its own. All in all, 'Heroine' is a collection that will bring out the most fun and exciting aspect in your holidays."
